 FAQs

  • Make sure to keep in mind the agreed upon number of outfit changes for your session when deciding what to bring. What you wear is completely up to you and what makes you feel empowered. Boudoir can range from fully nude to fully clothed or somewhere in between. So feel free to bring your sexiest lingerie or a sports bra and boy-shorts. It is aways a good idea to bring a robe, pasties, or anything you need to make you feel comfortable between shooting.

  • There are a few options when deciding the shoot location. The clients house is always an option as long as it has good natural lighting. When deciding if the clients house is a good option I may ask for a few pictures of the location. Another option is my studio which is located at my house. If you are curious how these photos would turn out I can send reference pictures taken at my studio. Another option is renting a studio or hotel room (the cost would be covered by the client). The final option is outdoors. Nature boudoir shots are beautiful but may be tricky due to the sensitive nature of the photos.

  • Leading up to the session you will want to drink plenty of water and get plenty of rest. Some of the poses require a certain level of flexibility so stretching before can be helpful. You will want to make sure you have packed any clothing, lingerie, props, robes, etc. that you will want to have for the shoot. Make sure that hair and makeup are done prior to arrival, unless they were scheduled as part of a package.

  • Please ask permission before bringing any guests to the shoot. It is up to the discretion of the photographer to decide if it is appropriate for the client to bring a guest.
